Antec Introduces DF500 and DF500 RGB Enclosures

Antec has announced the DF500 in the Dark Fleet series, a housing that will also be available in an RGB variant with illuminated fans on the front. The DF500 and DF500 RGB cost 59 and 79 euros respectively.

The DF500 and FD500 RGB have a tempered glass window on the side that makes the interior visible, and the front is also transparent, with dark glass. The RGB variant supplies Antec with three RGB fans, which then illuminate the front.

At the front there is room for three 120mm or two 140mm fans, just like on the top. A 120mm fan can be placed in the back. Furthermore, a 360mm radiator can be installed in the front and a 120mm variant in the back. On the front panel are two USB 3.0 ports, the audio ports and, with the RGB model, a button to set the RGB fans.

The dimensions of the housing are 470x200x480mm, with a weight of 6.7 kilograms, and the user can store atx, micro-atx and mini-itx motherboards in it. Furthermore, video cards with a maximum length of 380mm and coolers with a maximum height of 165mm fit in, while the length of power supplies can be up to 200mm.

The DF500 RGB has a suggested retail price of 79 euros. The housing without RGB lighting costs 59 euros
