Anno 2205 gets higher difficulty via free dlc
Ubisoft has released the Veteran’s Pack for Anno 2205. The free expansion adds a higher level of difficulty to the strategy game and also includes new quests. The publisher has also announced which DLCs will follow later this year.
The Veteran’s Pack DLC is intended for experienced Anno players. According to Ubisoft, the higher difficulty forces players to plan better and more carefully. The new difficulty level can be chosen from an existing profile, or by starting a new corporation. Furthermore, the free DLC pack adds three new ornaments. Finally, the publisher promises that the game’s boot and loading times have become shorter due to the update.
DLC expansions will be released in May and July for which payment is required. The Big Five Pack coming out in May will add an Economic Warfare option that revolves around stocks. The second DLC is called Orbit and gives players the option to build a modular space station. Orbit is part of the season pass, but will also be available separately in July. The prices of the DLC packs are not yet known.
