Annapurna Interactive Announces Dino Survival Game The Lost Wild

Developer Great Ape Games and publisher Annapurna Interactive have announced the first-person survival game The Lost Wild. In this, the player has to survive in the wilderness with different types of dinosaurs.

The game was announced Thursday at a showcase from Annapurna, who is the publisher of the recently released cat game Stray. The Lost Wild trailer shows off some gameplay footage and cinematics. It shows that the player is stranded in a jungle full of dangerous dinosaurs.

To survive, the player must collect materials, craft tools and hide if the dinos cannot be chased away with a torch. A mysterious voice on the radio gives instructions and helps the player explore the dilapidated labs in the jungle.

No release date has been announced yet, but the game is set to be released on Steam sometime in 2024. Console versions of The Lost Wild are also being worked on.
