Anker releases Eufy doorbell with two cameras for packet detection
Anker Innovations has released a new Eufy smart doorbell. It has two cameras. One is for visitors and a second looks down more to better detect packets. The Eufy Video Doorbell Dual costs 249 euros.
The camera doorbell has two cameras, the main one has a 2K resolution and supports HDR images. The camera has a viewing angle of 160 degrees. The other camera has a 1080p resolution and faces down. According to Eufy, that’s so the device can recognize packets. Like most doorbell cameras, the software has package recognition and a motion sensor, so that users can receive a notification if a package is on the sidewalk and if it is taken.
The doorbell can be connected to an existing transformer, but also works wirelessly. According to Eufy, the battery will last at least six months. The doorbell is included with the HomeBase hub. It has a storage capacity of 16GB, so that users are not completely dependent on a subscription. Eufy offers the device for 249 euros.
