Angry Birds game comes out for augmented reality glasses Magic Leap One
An Angry Birds game is coming out for the Magic Leap One, an augmented reality headset. The Angry Birds FPS game allows players to shoot birds at pigs on their own coffee table. The Finnish developer made the game together with a developer of VR games.
Rovio first converted Angry Birds into a VR game together with Resolution Games from Sweden and then turned it into a version for augmented reality, writes The Verge. Angry Birds FPS, First Person Slingshot, takes advantage of augmented reality by allowing players to walk around life and pelt the wooden structures containing pigs and other items from different positions. The game also gives players clues to explore a level by walking around.
Angry Birds FPS is only available for the Magic Leap One, the ar glasses from the American Magic Leap that went on sale this summer for $ 2295. The game will be released sometime in the next month, although it is unknown when exactly. It is unclear how many copies of the Magic Leap One are now in circulation.
