Android version Mozilla Firefox will support pull-to-refresh
The Android version of Mozilla’s browser Firefox will support pull-to-refresh. The technique has been in other browsers for some time, but until now could not be found in the mobile version of the Mozilla browser, partly because bugs have to be fixed.
The function is now in the test version of the browser, Android Police writes. Pull-to-refresh is the feature where users swipe down on the screen to refresh the page. There is another bug with a part of Google Maps, but otherwise all bugs seem out, according to the site. In the remaining bug, the Maps site inherits the swipe down gesture, so the browser doesn’t receive the gesture.
After a release in the Nightly version, integration in Firefox Beta will probably follow, after which the function should be ready for the stable version of the browser. It usually takes several weeks to months for a feature from the Nightly version to appear in the stable version.
The Nightly version is also currently the only variant that can install any add-on with a roundabout way. Mozilla released the stable version of the revamped Firefox this summer with a new engine and interface, supporting nine add-ons at release and thousands of others that stopped working.
