Among Us will be released for Xbox consoles in 2021

The popular game Among Us will be available for Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S next year. The title will also be available for the Xbox Game Pass subscription for consoles at that time.

In the update about the arrival of Among Us to the Xbox consoles, Microsoft does not give a specific release date. Among Us was already added to the Xbox Game Pass on Thursday, but only for the PC version of that subscription. The game has been out for Android, iOS and Windows since June 2018, but actually only became known to the general public this year. Recently, the game can also be played on the Nintendo Switch.

Among us is an online multiplayer game described as a social deduction game that revolves around communication, teamwork, betrayal and deception. The game places four to a maximum of ten players in a spaceship. One or more impostors are among the crew. The ‘real’ crew members must work together to complete tasks in the spaceship, while one or more impostors must try to sabotage or kill the crew members. The crew members can eliminate the cheaters by voting them out during intermittent sessions.
