Among Us is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in 2021

The popular multiplayer game Among Us will be released later this year for PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles. A further release date is not given. An Xbox and Switch version was also previously announced.

In reports a tweet the publisher of the game that the PS4 and PS5 versions will support crossplay with other platforms. Like the other versions, according to the PlayStation Blog, the PlayStation version takes four maps, including the new Airship map, and allows four to ten players to play with and against each other.

Among Us is a multiplayer game in which players must work together to complete tasks in an environment such as a spaceship. Between the four to ten players there is at least one Imposter, who has to sabotage or kill the other participants. These Imposters can be voted out during intercalated sessions.

The game appeared in June 2018 for Android and iOS, in November that year a Windows version appeared. In 2020, the game suddenly became popular. A Nintendo Switch version has since been released and an Xbox One and Xbox Series version has been announced, which should also be available this year.
