Among Us developer releases Nintendo Switch version with cross play
Innersloth has announced a Nintendo Switch version of Among Us. The game is available immediately through the Nintendo eShop store and costs 4.30 euros. The game has support for crossplay and local multiplayer.
Nintendo announced the arrival of the Switch version of Among Us during the Nintendo Indie World presentation. Not many details about the port are given in the video, other than that the game will be available “later today”. On Facebook, the developer states that the game will have online, local multiplayer, crossplay support, and immediate availability. According to the game’s Nintendo page, four to ten players can play together over a local Wi-Fi network. The game requires 421MB of storage space.
In Among Us, players must work together to complete tasks in a spaceship, while one or more impostors try to sabotage or kill the other players. The non-impostors can kick the cheaters out of the game by voting them out during intermittent sessions. The game first came out on Android, iOS and Windows in 2018, but became known to the general public in 2020.
