AMD will introduce the new Radeon RX 6000 video card with Navi 22 GPU on March 3

AMD is holding a Where Gaming Begins event on March 3. The manufacturer will then introduce a new desktop video card in its Radeon RX 6000 series. It may be a Radeon RX 6700 XT, which, according to recent rumors, will be released in mid-March.

AMD announces the event on Twitter.  The company publishes, among other things, a video render of the upcoming video card on its website. This shows that the upcoming reference card has three DisplayPort connections and an HDMI connector. The video card does not appear to have a USB-C port.

The chip manufacturer also mentions ‘Navi 22’ in the file name of the render. Rumors have been circulating for some time about the Navi 22 GPU, which will probably be used in RX 6700 video cards. This suggests that AMD will show its Radeon RX 6700 XT video card on March 3. According to previous rumors, those video cards will be released in March . The RX 6700 XT is expected to come with 12GB of GDDR6 memory. The GPU is said to be available in two variants , each with a different total graphics power . This has not yet been officially confirmed.

AMD previously announced that it will release new desktop video cards in the first half of this year. The company will also announce RDNA 2 video cards for laptops in the coming months.
