AMD’s Ryzen 7000X3D desktop processors with 3D V-Cache won’t be released on February 14 after all. The company put that release date on its website on Wednesday, but now says that was an error. AMD has not yet announced a new release date. The suggested retail prices are also not yet known.

AMD confirms to PCWorld, among others that AMD’s new desktop processors won’t be out on Valentine’s Day. “As you know, AMD.com briefly published a release date for the Ryzen 7000X3D series of desktop processors. However, that date is incorrect,” a spokesperson for the chip designer said. The company is not giving another release date, but says it will provide “updates on expected availability” later.

AMD announced three Ryzen 7000X3D processors for gamers last week at CES in Las Vegas. The company then only said that the processors would be released “in February”, but did not mention a date yet. As far as we know, the CPUs are still released in February, but not on the fourteenth.

The Ryzen 7000X3D series consists of three CPUs that are based on the Zen 4 architecture. The processors have extra stacked L3 cache compared to previous Ryzen 7000 CPUs. In addition to concrete release dates, AMD has not yet announced recommended prices.
