AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT will be available August 11 for a suggested retail price of $379
AMD has officially announced its Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card and manufacturers will release their versions starting August 11. The MSRP is $379. The gpu has 32 compute units and is equipped with 8GB of GDDR6 memory.
The RX 6600 XT’s Game Clock is set to 2359MHz and the GPU is combined with 32MB of Infinity Cache. According to AMD, the card has a total board power of 160W, which means that one 8-pin connection is enough to power video cards with the new GPU.
AMD is aiming with the Radeon RX6600XT on gamers playing on a 1080p monitor. In its presentation, AMD tries to convince players who now have a GeForce GTX 1060, the most popular video card among Steam users. According to AMD, the RX 6600 XT is 2.2 to 2.5 faster than that Nvidia GPU in games such as Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Forza Horizon 4.
ASRock, Asus, Biostar, Gigabyte, MSI, PowerColor, Sapphire, XFX and Yeston will release video cards based on the RX 6600 XT GPU on August 11. AMD mentions a suggested retail price of $ 379, but the price will depend on the version and what manufacturers charge for it. AMD does not release its own reference model.
