The consortium has shared some general goals to make unspecified Ethernet standards work more efficiently with specific workloads. This should be done, for example, by developing specifications, APIs and source code, specifically with certain applications as a starting point. ‘Software, storage, management and security constructs’ should also be developed to function better within the context of HPC and AI applications.
