AMD publishes a teaser video on Twitter, in which it shows a crown with blue jewels and mentions the announcement date of January 19. The manufacturer does not mention any further details. However, anonymous sources report to tech website VideoCardz that it is a Radeon Pro W6400. This would make it a ‘budget video card’ for workstations, which has a Navi 24-gpu. That 6nm chip is currently already being used in, for example, the recently announced Radeon RX 6500 XT.

According to VideoCardz, the Radeon Pro W6400 will compete with the Nvidia T600, an entry-level workstation video card based on the Turing architecture and intended, for example, for 2D modeling and video editing. However, further details about the alleged Radeon Pro W6400 are not yet known. For example, it is not yet clear how much memory the workstation card has. The amount of compute units is not yet known, but the current Radeon RX 6500 XT has 16 cu’s.
