Amazon subsidiary Ring has announced two new video doorbells. The Video Doorbell 3 goes on sale next month, the 3 Plus will follow later. The doorbells have support for WiFi at 5GHz, among other things.

In addition, both video doorbells have the ability to set a zone up to 4.5 meters away from the doorbell, after which users will only be notified if the software has detected movement within that zone.

The Video Doorbell 3 Plus also has a Pre-Roll function to show every four seconds before the software detects movement. That is in black and white and with low resolution, as it turned out earlier this week when a product page appeared online. The Video Doorbell 3 will go on sale on April 28 for $199. Ring will release the 3 Plus at a later date this year for 229 euros.
