Amazon releases New World for consoles with Aeternum expansion
Amazon Games announced the New World expansion New World: Aeternum for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S. The game includes all content from the original game and introduces the new island of Aeternum. The game will be released on October 15 for at least 60 euros.
Amazon Games announced this during the Summer Game Fest. The upcoming mmorpg therefore consists of the existing base game New World, the DLC Rise of the Angry Earth and the new Aeternum expansion. This will be released on both PC and consoles, but PC gamers who already have the base game and the DLC do not need to purchase the game again. The expansion also introduces instant crossplay.
New World: Aeternum takes place on a new island and features a new story. The expansion also includes a large PVP zone, a ten-player raid, new solo trials and new character archetypes. Amazon Games also claims to have developed an improved level and dialogue system.
