Alleged Battlefield 6 images appear online

Images have surfaced on the internet of what will likely be the new Battlefield game. The leaked images show an island with a missile launch site on it. The weather would play an important role in the game.

The images were posted on Reddit two weeks ago, but they were not noticed at the time. It concerns two screenshots of which users have manually increased the resolution. The images are now in the spotlight again by gamer and influencer Tom Henderson. He confirms that the images are authentic. Henderson has made such predictions about Battlefield and other games in the past. Earlier this month, Henderson himself already made drawings based on an upcoming trailer.

The trailer would show that the game is set on an island in the ocean. The screenshots show helicopters flying over the island, as well as a missile launch site. According to Henderson, it would be the Tanegashima Space Center, Japan’s largest launch site.

Henderson also made a video based on the trailer he is said to have seen. In the video, he describes how a storm or a tornado changes the playing field. Players will be able to fly Osprey planes and helicopters, according to the trailer. In Battlefield 6, more attention would be paid to weather patterns and the day and night cycle.

Battlefield 6 is due out sometime in 2021. The game will then be released on the new consoles, but details are still unknown.
