Alcatel has announced a range of wearables, including a smartwatch and an activity tracker. In addition, the company also comes with a GPS tracker and a smart watch for children. The new products will be shown at the IFA fair.

According to Alcatel, the activity tracker is called the Moveband, and it keeps track of what the user does in terms of physical exertion in a day, such as the distance traveled and the time. The number of calories consumed is tracked and the sleeping pattern can also be measured. In addition to tracking activity, messages that come in via a connected smartphone can also be read. Interested parties can only get the Moveband if they purchase an Alcatel smartphone.

The smartwatch that Alcatel releases is called Movetime. This device is available in silver, dark gray and gold. As with the activity tracker, it is possible to measure physical activity and read messages. In addition, users can make calls from their wrist. An amount of 169 euros must be deposited for the Movetime.

In addition, Alcatel is introducing the Movetrack, a GPS tracker that can be attached to a bunch of keys, for example. This should ensure that the user does not lose his belongings. A notification can also be sent if the tracker leaves a preset area. Movetrack should last four days on the built-in battery.

Finally, there is the Move Track&Talk, a watch that is especially intended for children. It can dial a number of pre-programmed phone numbers, and parents can track their child’s location. The battery should also last four days with this device.

All products in the new Move series should be available this month. Alcatel has revealed little about the internal hardware used for the devices.
