Albert Heijn has made integration with the ifttt service available, a project that originated from its Labs department. For example, users can set a trigger for when a product is on sale.

According to the supermarket, users can currently choose from three different triggers: a Bonus offer for a particular product, the availability of a product on the AH site or the start of an event. They can then connect various actions to this, such as adding one or more products to a list or adding a search term.

In addition, the supermarket makes various applets available, for example to receive a reminder every Monday to order groceries or to receive an email as soon as new triggers and actions become available.

Ifttt stands for If This Then That. The service makes it possible to connect devices and services, among other things. There is a growing number of integrations, for example Sonos recently introduced support for the service.
