Akasa will release a mini-itx enclosure suitable for passively cooled systems with 65W processors from Intel or AMD. Previous Akasa enclosures for fanless builds were intended for 35W CPUs.

The housing will have dimensions of 280x209x110mm, FanlessTech reports. That website also shows a photo of the Akasa Maxwell Pro case. The manufacturer already has a product page of the housing on its website, but the details have not yet been filled in.

On Twitter Akasa reports that the new housing is made of aluminum and has four copper heat pipes. The inside has not yet been shown; but just like with previously released cases, there will be a cooling element that can be attached to the processor and that connects the heat pipes to the case.

There are four USB-A ports on the front and, according to FanlessTech, Akasa provides two optional power supplies. There is a compact 150W power supply that can be placed internally, and a variant with an external power brick, which has a higher efficiency. When Akasa will release the new housing has not yet been announced. The price is also unknown.
