Akasa will release the Turing A50 case in February. It is suitable for the components of the Asus PN50 mini PC with Ryzen 4000U processor and can cool them passively. Akasa has previously made similar housings for Intel NUCs.

The Akasa Turing A50 has the same dimensions as the previous Turing case for Intel NUC systems, according to FanlessTech, but the case has been internally modified to accommodate the electronics from the Asus PN50 mini PCs. There are also recesses so that all connections can be used.

Asus announced the PN50 mini PCs in June. These are small computers equipped with AMD Ryzen 4000U laptop processors, which are actively cooled with a fan. The Turing A50 housing is a lot bigger than the original PN50 housing. The Turing housing adds large cooling fins so that the mini PC can be passively cooled.

The Taiwanese manufacturer has not yet announced what the Akasa Turing A50 will cost. The Turing enclosure for Intel NUCs is in the Pricewatch for around € 120. The Asus PN50 PCs with Ryzen 5 4500U and Ryzen 3 4300U are currently in the Pricewatch for around 400 and 350 euros. There are also versions with Ryzen 7 4700U and 4800U, but they are not currently available.
