Adobe releases version Premiere for iOS
Adobe has released a version of its Premiere Pro application for iOS called Premiere Clip. The video editor has come out for both iPhone and iPad. Other Adobe apps now all work on iPhones as well.
Premiere Clip for iOS provides basic clip editing, such as cutting into video clips and adding some simple effects, transitions, and text. Video content and timelines can be shared with Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
Premiere Clip is an addition to the extensive set of apps that Adobe already offers on iOS. All those apps have had updates. Photoshop Sketch, a quick sketching tool, and Photoshop Mix. The Mix version of Photoshop includes layer management and various graphics tools. In the new 1.3 version, the app runs on both iPad and iPhone, while Sketch 2.0 gets five new brushes. According to Adobe, both apps have gained better compatibility with the new desktop versions of Photoshop.
Lightroom Mobile, Illustrator Line and the new Illustrator Draw also have a new version. Illustrator Line 2.0 makes it possible to group drawings and publish them in portfolios. Draw 1.0 makes it easy to create vector graphics and transfer drawings to the desktop editions of Photoshop and Illustrator. Lightroom Mobile 1.2 makes it possible to leave comments on photos and share snapshots, while also synchronizing GPS metadata with Adobe’s desktop applications.
Adobe has bundled a number of capture tools under the name Capture Apps. The Brush tool can be used to create brushes based on existing images, while Shape can convert parts of photos into a vector graphic. Finally, the Color tool can capture colors and bundle them into color themes.
Adobe’s new and updated iOS apps are available immediately. Creative Cloud subscribers can download the apps for free.
