Adobe releases Photoshop for Arm version of Windows 10
Adobe has released Photoshop for the Arm version of Windows 10. The software supports 64bit Windows 10 devices with an Arm chip. The company previously released an Arm version of Photoshop for Mac computers with an Apple M1 soc.
Adobe released the release version of Photoshop for Windows 10 Arm devices this month, Windows Central noted. The company has been testing the software on Arm devices with Windows 10 since November, but is now releasing the version to all users with such systems. The software can be installed on Arm devices with at least 8GB of memory, the company reports. Adobe already released a Photoshop version in March for Apple Mac computers with an M1 soc. This chip is also based on the Arm instruction set architecture.
The Arm version of Photoshop is broadly similar to the x86 variant, although the new version does lack some features. For example, users cannot import, export or play embedded video layers within the software. Syncing presets, opening or using U3D files and support for the Surface Dial are also missing. Invite to Edit workflows with cloud documents are also not supported yet. These, and some other missing features, will be added after release, Adobe reports on its website. The company also mentions some known bugs, including possible fixes.
