Adobe Releases Creative Cloud Express for Smartphones, Web Browsers and Windows
Adobe has released its Creative Cloud Express service for browsers, smartphones and Windows. That is an app with photo and video editing functions. For example, Creative Cloud Express is for designing posters, brochures, and social media posts.
Adobe Creative Cloud Express will be available separately as an app through the Google Play Store for Android, the Apple App Store for iOS, and the Microsoft Store for Windows. A version for web browsers is also coming out. The service contains various ‘templates’ that users can customize, for example for menus, posters, YouTube thumbnails and Instagram stories. The service has various stock photos and fonts available for this.
Creative Cloud Express also leverages Adobe Sensei, the company’s AI engine. For example, the service gets ‘quick actions’ for removing the background from photos. It also allows users to merge or convert videos to GIF images, export PDF files, and more.
There will be a free version of Creative Cloud Express, which has a limited amount of templates and assets. The company is also introducing a premium version, which adds additional features and includes access to Adobe Stock images. That premium version costs $10 per month and is also included with the Creative Cloud All Apps subscription and Adobe CC Single App subscription over $20 per month. A version for enterprise and teams will be available next year.
