Adobe is releasing Photoshop for Arm version of Windows 10
Adobe has released Photoshop for the Arm version of Windows 10. The software supports 64bit Windows 10 devices with an Arm chip. The company previously released an Arm version of Photoshop for Mac computers with an Apple M1-soc.
Adobe released the release version of Photoshop for Windows 10 Arm devices this month, Windows Central noted. The company has been testing the software on Arm devices running Windows 10 since November, but is now releasing the version to all users with such systems. The software can be installed on Arm devices with a minimum of 8GB of memory, the company reports. Adobe already released a Photoshop version for Apple Mac computers with an M1-soc in March. This chip is also based on the Arm instruction set architecture.
The Arm version of Photoshop is broadly the same as the x86 version, although the new version lacks some features. For example, users cannot embedded video layers import, export or playback within the software. Synchronizing presets, opening or using U3D files and support for the Windows Dial are also missing. Invite to Edit workflows with cloud documents are also not yet supported. These, and some other missing features, will be added upon release, Adobe reports on its website. The company also cites some known bugs, including possible fixes.
