Adata introduces the XPG SX8100 series of pci-e 3.0 x4 nvme ssds. There will be variants of 512GB, 1TB and 2TB. The new models are faster and have a higher storage capacity than last year’s SX8200 variants.

Adata uses a RealTek RTS5762 controller with support for nmve 1.3 and eight memory channels in the XPG SX8100 SSDs. The PCI-E 3.0 x4 SSDs achieve maximum read and write speeds of 3500MB/s and 3000MB/s. Random reads and writes go with up to 300,000iops and 240,000iops.

Adata does not report which nand memory the SSDs use, but the manufacturer does say that slc cache and dram are present. The NVME SSDs are available in the m2-2280 form factor. Recommended retail prices have not been disclosed and it is not yet clear when the SSDs will hit the market.
