Activision has postponed Season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Season 7 of Call of Duty: Mobile to an undisclosed date. According to the publisher, now is “not the time” to start the seasons.

Season 3 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare should have ended Tuesday, June 2, and Season 4 should have started after that with a new Battle Pass and new content, but it won’t. Activision reports that on Twitter.

Season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare along with Call of Duty: Mobile Season 7 has been moved to later dates. Now is not the time to start the new seasons, according to the publisher. “Now is the time for those who speak out for equality, justice and change to be seen and heard.”

With this, the game company refers to the protests that take place in the United States after the death of the black detainee George Floyd. Earlier, Sony and Google postponed events due to the unrest in the US. The PlayStation 5 and the beta of Android 11 would be announced respectively.
