Activision comes with game around Hit Monkey

Activision is planning a game based around Hit Monkey, the main character from a series of Marvel Comics comic books. The game is being made by High Moon Studios, but the announcement website is down.

Hitmonkeygame.com announced the announcement of a game based around comic book hero Hit Monkey, a monkey also known as the ‘world’s greatest assassin’. The announcement revealed that a game around the comic book hero from the Marvel catalog is in the works. Development is in the hands of High Moon Studios, owned by publisher Activision. The announcement, which consisted of no more than a picture, only let go of the fact that the game is expected on the market in 2013.

In the comic books, a monkey, a Japanese macaque, plays the leading role. The monkey learns to wield weapons by copying the trade of a human assassin. Marvel started the series in 2010. High Moon Studios is best known for the Transformers games. The studio delivered Transformers: War for Cybertron and Transformers: Dark of the Moon and is still working on Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, which will be released in August.
