Activision Adds Solo Mode to Call of Duty: Warzone
A week after its release, Call of Duty: Warzone got a solo mode. Initially, the game only had a three-player team mode. The maximum number of 150 players is the same in solo mode.
Activision and Infinity Ward will make the solo mode available in the battle royale game on Tuesday. It’s been exactly a week since the game came out. The game managed to attract millions of players in a short time, after three days there were fifteen million. Activision has not provided more recent figures.
In solo mode, up to 150 players compete against each other. Until now, players were always divided into teams of three and thus 50 teams competed against each other. It was possible to play alone by joining an empty team, but lone players had to compete against other teams.
The rules of the game are unchanged in solo mode. Just like in the existing mode, the circle gets smaller and smaller and the last player wins. There is also the Gulag, in which players can fight for a respawn. If players lose such a 1vs1 fight, they are permanently out of the game.
