Acer reports in a press release that the Predator Orion 7000 desktops have overclockable Intel processors of the twelfth generation. Those Alder Lake processors won’t be officially announced until later this year. In addition, the Acer desktops get up to 64GB of DDR5-4000 memory and a maximum of an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 video card.

The PCs support PCIe 5.0, according to Acer. The gaming desktops come with up to two PCIe 4.0 SSDs with up to 1TB of storage each. The Predator Orion 7000 also gets a hot-swap 2.5″ drive bay and two 3.5″ HDDs with a maximum capacity of 3TB each.

The manufacturer provides the desktop with its own Predator FrostBlade 2.0 argb fans; the system features two such 140mm fans at the front and one 120mm one at the rear. The top of the housing offers space for up to two additional 120mm fans. Acer also talks about an AIO water cooler for the processor, but does not discuss the radiator size. A demo system Tom’s Hardware has seen featured a 240mm cooler mounted to the top of the case.

The front of the Predator Orion 7000 also has three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C connector, and two 3.5mm jacks for audio and a microphone.
