Acer Predator Triton 900 gaming laptop with tilting system for screen costs 4200 euros
Acer has presented a Predator gambling tablet Triton 900 at the CES fair in Las Vegas. The device is in fact a 2-in-1 laptop that has a mechanism that allows the screen to be placed in all kinds of positions and can also be used as a tablet. The Triton 900 costs 4199 euros.
Acer introduced the Triton 900 at IFA, but now the manufacturer has also published the specifications, the price and a release period . The gaming laptop has a 17 “touch sensitive screen with an ips panel and 4k resolution, Acer plugs in the mobile Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 and the laptop supports G-Sync, although it is not clear at which frequency range the synchronization between gpu and screen is possible.
The laptop can also be equipped with a hexacore from Intel, an i7-cpu of the eighth generation, users can choose a nvme ssd and a maximum of 32GB of ddr4 memory. a wireless Xbox receiver added to the Triton 900, allowing users to use a wireless Xbox controller without the intervention of a USB receiver.
Acer also officially presented the smaller and less powerful Triton 500. This is a 15.6 “laptop with a full HD screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz, an ips panel that reaches a maximum of 300cd / m². n has a reaction time of 3ms. An Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 can also be placed with this laptop, just like an Intel i7 hexacore, a nvme ssd and a maximum of 32GB of RAM. G-Sync support seems to only be present in the RTX 2080 version and not RTX 2070 or 2060.
The manufacturer reports that this laptop is 17.9mm thin, weighs 2.1kg and has screen edges of 6 Has 3mm; that would give the laptop a relative screen size of 81 percent. The Triton 500 battery lasts eight hours when using an RTX 2060 or 2070.
