Bandai Namco has announced the release dates of Ace Combat 7. The game will be released on January 18 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and on February 1 for PC on Steam. The game should have been released sometime this year.

The publisher gives no reason for the new postponement, Bandai Namco only announces the dates. Last year, the game was delayed to 2018, with no further clarity on the release date. With a release at the beginning of 2019, that long deadline is therefore just short of being met.

In late 2015, Ace Combat 7 was announced on the PlayStation Experience. The game will get special missions for the PSVR headset. The Xbox One and PC versions do not have VR functionality. Ace Combat 7 takes place on the same continent as Ace Combat 3 and 4. The game revolves around the Second Usean Continental War, which is the result of an attack by an army of unmanned fighter jets.

Bandai Namco has put together a new trailer and also announced the release of two Ace Combat 7 themed joysticks. Thrustmaster comes with a version of the T.Flight Hotas 4 for the Xbox One and Hori makes a modified Hotas Flight Stick for the PlayStation 4.
