Meta is going to add Feeds and Home tabs to Facebook

Meta is going to add two new tabs to Facebook: Home and Feeds. The Home tab includes content chosen by Facebook based on personal preferences. Feeds is where users find posts posted by friends or Pages they follow.

The tabs will be rolled out globally over the next week, but for some users they are already visible in the shortcut bar. Meta wants to make it easier for users to separate Facebook posts from each other, says the company.

The Home tab is the first thing the user sees when they open Facebook. Reels and Stories can be shared and viewed in this tab. In addition, you can see content that Facebook’s self-learning algorithm selects based on the user’s personal interests and preferences. Feeds lists posts from friends, groups, and people the user follows. The tab doesn’t contain suggestions from Facebook, but it does contain ads. It is possible to pin both tabs to the shortcut bar.
