Intel Core i9-9900KS is converted to 672 euros at Australian webshop

The Australian computer store MWave has the Intel Core i9 9900KS in its range, with the company mentioning a price of $ 899. That is converted and with VAT 672 euros.

The product page on MWave lists the product number for the Core i9 9900KS as “BX80684I99900KS” and besides the price and some basic specs there are no details about the release. Twitter user momomo_us mentions a price of 603.66 US dollars at an unnamed shop, which is converted and with VAT 668 euros. It is not known whether those amounts actually correspond to the prices that will apply in the Benelux. The Core i9-9900K stands for prices roughly between 515 and 599 euros in the Pricewatch.

Intel will release the Core i9 9900KS in October. The specifications of the processor were already known, but the price and TDP were not yet known. Tom’s Hardware recorded a TDP of 127W for the processor last week, based on registrations with motherboard manufacturers.

Intel announced the Core i9 9900KS at the end of May. It is a special edition variant of the Core i9-9900K with higher clock speeds, for which Intel selects the chips specifically. The octa-core processor has a base clock of 4GHz and a maximum turbo speed of 5GHz on all eight cores.
