OnePlus shows renders of OnePlus 7T with three cameras on the back
OnePlus has put renders of its upcoming smartphone online. The three rear cameras are positioned horizontally in a circle. Sketches show a screen with a small drop-shaped notch, which makes it clear that it is the OnePlus 7T.
The renders give some details about the cameras. The numbers 17, 26 and 51 are mentioned. With this, OnePlus indicates the focal lengths converted to full-frame equivalent. What is striking is that the ultra-wide-angle camera has a 17mm lens. Many manufacturers opt for a lens with a wider angle of view. For example, with the iPhone 11 devices it is 13mm and with the Samsung S10 series it is 12mm.
The focal lengths also seem to indicate that it is the OnePlus 7T, because according to rumors, the OnePlus 7T Pro will have a camera with a telephoto lens with ‘3x zoom’. To achieve this, a focal length of 78mm is required. The 51mm on the render corresponds to the ‘2x zoom’ that the OnePlus 7T would get.
In a forum post, OnePlus writes to reveal the design of its new ‘flagship’ and the company says it will provide more information on September 26. However, the manufacturer only shows one device, while a OnePlus 7T Pro is also expected in addition to the OnePlus 7T. The Pro model may have the same or a similar rear.
At the end of 2018, a photo of an internal presentation appeared where a new OnePlus device with a similar design was shown.
