Aldi announces Medion 2-in-1 laptop with full-HD screen for 399 euros
Aldi announced its new Medion 2-in-1 laptop on Monday. The device has a Celeron N2940 CPU that is based on the Bay Trail architecture and will be available on Wednesday for 399 euros.
Aldi reports this on Monday. The MD99430 is a laptop with a detachable 11.6″ touchscreen with full HD IPS panel that can serve as a tablet and can be placed in a separate tablet position. With the device, Medion comes with an integrated stylus, with which, among other things, precise text input and image editing is possible.
Medion has equipped the device with a Celeron N2940 CPU clocked at 1.83GHz. The MD99430 has 4GB of RAM, a 500GB HDD and 64GB Flash memory. In addition, there is support for Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi via ac/b/g/n.
The dimensions of the tablet are 30x19x1 centimeters and of the base 30x22x1 centimeters. The weight for both parts amounts to 790 grams and 920 grams respectively. The tablet has a USB 3.0 connection, micro HDMI and a micro SD card reader. The base also offers two USB 2.0 connections.
