Samsung has released a Wear OS port of the Samsung Internet Browser. With that, the browser now works on the Galaxy Watch4 smartwatches. Previously, there was already a Samsung Internet Browser port for Tizen smartwatches.

The Wear OS-Samsung Internet Browser is a modified variant of the browser, suitable for smartwatches. That writes, among others, 9to5Google. The browser uses swipe gestures to navigate. For example, with a swipe to the top of the screen, users will see a menu with bookmarks and a Zoom mode. Users can also send the web page to a connected smartphone here.

The app is available for Samsung’s Wear OS smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch4 and Watch4 Classic. These two smartwatches were unveiled in August. They are the first Samsung smartwatches based on the combined operating system of Wear OS and Tizen. The smartwatch app can be downloaded from Google Play.
