Toshiba equips Windows 8.1 laptop with 32GB storage memory
Toshiba is launching two new 11.6″ laptops. The Satellite Radius 11 and the Satellite CL10-B both feature touchscreens, but where the Radius stands out with its flip-up screen, the CL10 has to rely on its low weight The CL10 has 32GB of emmc storage.
The two laptops have some similarities. Both are equipped with an 11.6 “touch screen, with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. They have an HDMI, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 connection. An SD card reader is also present.
At 1.3 kilograms, the Radius 11 is the heaviest, but also the most powerful of the two. The model uses an Intel Pentium processor, has 4GB DDR3L memory and has a 500GB HDD. Thanks to the ability to tilt 360 degrees, the screen gives the laptop five modes according to Toshiba: the laptop, tablet, audience, presentation and so-called tabletop mode.
Toshiba aims with the CL10-B at people who are on the road a lot. At 1.1 kilograms, the laptop is relatively light. With the Intel Celeron, the model has a less powerful processor and with 2GB DDR3L less memory than the Radius. Instead of a hdd, the CL10-B has 32GB emmc memory; 100GB of Microsoft OneDrive storage should cover the rest of the storage needs.
Both laptops will be released later this year. The suggested retail price for the Radius 11 is 399 euros. The CL10-B should yield 259 euros.
