Windows Central: Surface Laptop Go 2 coming in June with 11th-generation Core i5 CPU
Microsoft is expected to release the Surface Laptop Go 2 in June, Windows Central writes based on its own sources. The laptop gets a new eleventh-generation Core i5 processor and is equipped with 4 or 8GB of RAM and 64, 128 or 256GB SSD storage.
The Surface Laptop Go 2 will come in three models, writes Windows Central. The budget model is expected to cost converted 613 euros and is equipped with 4GB ram, 64GB eMMC storage and no fingerprint reader. According to Windows Central, the base model will receive 8GB of ram, is equipped with a 128GB SSD and a fingerprint reader, and will cost 780 euros converted. The more expensive model with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD will cost the equivalent of 1003 euros. All three models are equipped with an 11th-generation Intel Core i5 processor.
The laptops will have the same 12.4″ screen as the Surface Laptop Go from 2020 and will have exactly the same ports, according to Windows Central. They will have the same dimensions and be made of the same material. So this is a small upgrade from the previous model, with the only major difference that the base model is equipped with a 128GB SSD instead of a 64GB version.The Surface Laptop Go 2 does come in a new color: sage green.
