MythTV is an application for the Linux platform for watching digital television. In addition, it is possible to retrieve information about the programming and to automatically record broadcasts. Support for controlling several tuners at the same time is provided, as is a detection mechanism to filter commercial breaks. The developers have released the first release candidate of MythTV 0.23 with the following list of changes:
