BlueGriffon is an open source and cross platform wysiwyg html editor and the successor to Nvu. The program is based on Gecko, the rendering engine of Mozilla Firefox. The basic version of BlueGriffon, which has an extensive feature set, is free, but for advanced options and even the instructions must be paid. New in version 2.2 includes support for Accessible Rich Internet Applications and it can also be used to edit ebooks.
