Download Caliber 2.78

Version 2.78 of Caliber has been released. Caliber is an open source and cross platform ebook management program. Among other things, it can look up all relevant information and cover images, and convert e-books to make them suitable for the various types of e-readers. Furthermore, the program can convert newspapers, magazines and news articles based on RSS feeds into e-book format. Books can also be purchased with Caliber at the well-known web stores. The program is under active development and a new version is usually released every other week on Friday. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

New Features

• View button: Add an action to the right click menu that always opens the book with the caliber viewer, regardless of the preferences
• Kobo driver: Update to support the newest firmware from Kobo
• E-book viewer: Allow opening a specific item from the Table of Contents via the –open-at command line parameter. Close tickets: 1656573
• Amazon metadata download: Add support for downloading from amazon.ca

• Edit Book: Do not condense CSS rules when saving AZW3 files regardless of the value of Preferences->Common Options->Look & Feel->Expand CSS
• EPUB Output: Fix a duplicate id created in rare circumstances when splitting on page breaks. Close tickets: 1658744
