Microsoft has released two cumulative updates for SQL Server 2014. Namely 2014 SP3 CU3 and 2014 SP2 CU17. SQL Server is a relational database management system that supports T-SQL, a dialect of SQL. It is available in different flavors and can therefore be used for small, medium and large databases. Version 2014 only runs on the Windows platform, from version 2017 Linux is also supported, such as Red Hat Enterprise Server and Ubuntu. The lists of adaptations of both releases are as follows:

Cumulative Update 3 for SQL Server 2014 SP3

This article describes Cumulative Update package 3 (CU3) (build number: 12.0.6259.0) for Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Service Pack 3 (SP3). This update contains fixes that were released after the initial release of SQL Server 2014 SP3.

• FIX: Query plans are different on clone database created by DBCC CLONEDATABASE and its original database in SQL Server 2016 and 2017

Cumulative Update 17 for SQL Server 2014 SP2

This article describes Cumulative Update package 17 (CU17) (build number: 12.0.5632.1) for Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Service Pack 2 (SP2). This update contains fixes that were released after the initial release of SQL Server 2014 SP2.
