Lenovo will release horizontal Legion gaming smartphone next month
Lenovo will release a smartphone aimed at gamers next month. The Lenovo Legion is intended to be used horizontally and has the cameras in the center of the back of the device. Not much is known about specifications.
There have been rumors for some time that Lenovo would come with its own gaming phone, but the company is now confirming on Weibo that it will release the Legion next month. The company does not give details.
The phone is intended to be used horizontally, as evidenced by teasers the company previously released. For example, the logo is turned, and the two camera lenses are in the middle of the phone. The device also has a pop-up camera on the side, and two USB-C connections, one of which is on the side.
It was previously known that the phone gets a Snapdragon 865-soc that supports 5g. The device has a battery of 5000mAh and can charge with 90W fast.
Lenovo will announce the phone in a month, but it is not yet known whether it will be available outside China. Nothing is known about the price yet.
