Respawn adjusts offer at Apex Legends event after complaints
After much criticism from players, Respawn has promised to adjust the range of items that will be released during the Iron Crown Collection Event. In the last week of the event, the Legendary gear associated with the event will be offered for a fixed price.
In a post on Reddit, Respawn shared how it will be tweaking its purchase options during the event. The Legendary items associated with the event will be rotated in the digital store next week, for a price of 1800 Apex Coins each, which is equivalent to approximately 18 euros. It is also still possible to buy the Iron Crown Apex Packs, for 700 coins.
Players complained that when they want to collect all the items that will be spent at the event, they open 24 Iron Crown packs. Since only two can be obtained for free by playing the game, 22 must be purchased, which amounts to approximately 154 euros. Although the prices of the packs do not change, players do have the option to immediately purchase the skins they want, so that they do not have to open a pack several times in the hope that the item they want is in it.
The Iron Crown Collection Event will run until August 27. In addition to the addition of new, temporary cosmetic items, there is also a temporary solo mode. In addition, there will be a weekend in which extra experience points can be earned. Respawn says it has learned from the complaints and will adjust future events accordingly.
