Samsung is set to use the recently announced large camera sensor in a Galaxy A phone next year. This is evident from an online roadmap with details about the cameras of next year’s Galaxy A line-up.

In addition to the 108-megapixel camera, the “Galaxy A91” according to the roadmap will have a 16-megapixel camera with ultra-wide angle lens, a 12-megapixel camera with “5x optical zoom” and a time-of-flight sensor for viewing in 3D depth, according to the new version. roadmap that Sudhansu Ambhore put online. Samsung announced the 1/1.33″ large camera sensor for phones last week. It is believed to come first in a Xiaomi phone. It is the second largest camera sensor for a phone to date.

The ‘Galaxy A81’ would get the 64-megapixel sensor that will appear in smartphones for the first time this fall. The manufacturer has already presented it. The set-up with four cameras is on all devices from the Galaxy A51 and higher. This includes three cameras: a primary camera, one with an ultra-wide angle lens and a depth sensor. With the cheaper phones, this is not a time-of-flight sensor, but a small regular camera with which users cannot take pictures.

Samsung has not responded to the rumor. The South Korean manufacturer said last year that it was going to experiment with innovative specs and features in the Galaxy A line. For example, the current Galaxy A80 has a rotating camera.
