Renders Honor 9X and 9X Pro may show a collapsed pop-up front camera

New images of the Honor 9X and 9X Pro have surfaced online that seem to confirm previous rumors that the phones will feature a retractable selfie camera. The renders show how the screen takes up the entire front of the device, without a notch.

It concerns press renders that Mysmartprice managed to get hold of. The renders show two phones, the Honor 9X and the Honor 9X Pro. On both devices you can see how there is no built-in selfie camera on the front of the device, but there is a small notch on top of the device itself. It is most likely a pop-up camera. You can also see how the device has virtually no bezels.

Earlier there were already schematic images of the device via Evan Blass from EVLeaks appeared, among others at XDA-Developers, where a pop-up camera could be seen. Those rumors now seem confirmed. The big difference between the 9X and the 9X Pro is the camera. The latter device has three cameras with a flash underneath, while the regular 9X has two cameras with an integrated flash. The camera of the 9X would count 48 megapixels with one and eight megapixels with the other camera, the 9X will get a single camera of 48 megapixels.
