Beta test of multiplayer mode Fable Legends starts in autumn
The developers of Fable Legends indicated at Microsoft’s E3 keynote that a public beta will be launched in the fall to test the multiplayer mode. The mode allows four-player co-op gameplay against a player-controlled enemy.
Fable Legends, which will be playable only online, was announced at Gamescom last August. During its E3 presentation, Microsoft and Lionhead announced on Monday that the beta test for the multiplayer mode will be available in the fall. The game should be available this year.
In multiplayer coop mode, a gamer can play the enemy. With an isometric camera angle, he gets an overview of a level where he can try to counter four Fable heroes in Tower Defense style. This option can also be controlled via the SmartGlass app on tablets and smartphones.
