Samsung Introduces New Line of Mobile Audio Products in Level Series

Samsung comes with a new line of audio products. The four-part Level series consists of two headphones, in-ear earphones and a stereo speaker. Information about the new series appeared on Samsung’s official site on Monday.

The flagship of the series is the Level Over headphones. The Level Over are 350 gram over-ear headphones with a 50mm Dynamic Driver made from a neodymium magnet. It features both a 3.5mm jack and Bluetooth 3.0 to connect to other devices. Furthermore, according to Samsung, the external microphone offers improved noise cancellation. With active noise cancellation, which filters out ambient noise, battery life is 15 hours in use versus 30 hours when this option is turned off. The standby time would be 200 hours without activated noise cancellation and 30 hours with it.

Level Over users can download the SoundAlive app from the Google Play Store or Samsung Apps to customize the sound of the Level Over headphones to their preference. In the app, among other things, the reproduction of bass tones can be adjusted and there is an equalizer available.

The Level Box is a stereo speaker that allows devices to connect via nfc, bluetooth, a 3.5mm audio cable or micro-usb. The speaker weighs 600 grams and has a built-in microphone that can be used for making phone calls. The battery of the speaker should last 15 hours with continuous use.

The Level-On is a 210 gram on-ear headphone that offers 40mm membranes in the ear cups. Just like the Level-Over, the headphones also have a microphone incorporated in the audio cable. Last in the series are the Level In earphones. They weigh 15.7 grams and have one speaker for the low bass sounds and two speakers for high and medium sounds. The Level series will be available from mid-May.
