Download Mp3tag 2.50

Florian Heidenreich has released version 2.50 of Mp3tag. With this program, the meta tags of the most common music formats can be modified. Support is available for ID3v1, ID3v2.3, ID3v2.4, iTunes Mp5, wma, Vorbis comments and Ape tags. Furthermore, the file names can be modified on the basis of those tags and playlists can be generated. The changelog for version 2.50 can be found below.

New:

• Converter ‘Tag – Tag’ via menu ‘Converter’, toolbar and Alt+5 keyboard shortcut.
• Added $verticalBar() for masking vertical bar symbol in web sources.
• Support for writing of UTF-8 encoded playlists using *.m3u8 as file extension.

Changes:

• Changed keyboard shortcut for actions to Alt+6 and Alt+Shift+6.

Fixed:

• Truncated separator string that occurred in sayregexp result.
• Regression regarding sorting filtered file lists since v2.49b.
• Converter ‘Filename – Tag’ did not work for field names containing dots.
• Regression regarding output of multi-valued tag fields for discogs web sources since v2.49b.
